Perth’s top entertainment venue has promised to give Murdoch students priority for jobs and cheaper ticket deals.
This week Perth Arena and Murdoch University announced an exclusive partnership that will give students exclusive work opportunities and access to special offers on tickets and entry.
Perth Arena commercial manager Dave Humphrey told The Bounce that students will be able to apply for roles in every department of the venue.
“They can apply for jobs in human resources, finance, commerce, media as well as casual and graduate roles,” he said.
Mr Humphrey said Perth Arena committed to the partnership with Murdoch because of its wide reach and successful reputation.
“Murdoch is a really great fit for us,” he said, “The global reach of its campuses, its successful courses, the quality of graduates, and the university’s commitment to improvement and innovation are a great synergy to Perth Arena.”

The 15, 500 seat venue offers a student intern program exclusively for Murdoch students, giving them practical experience in the world of entertainment.
Mr Humphrey said both local and international students will be able to work in big events which was “great for the minds of university students and business”.
“Live entertainment has become big business and – through work integrated learning opportunities, students will help the Perth Arena to continuously enhance business,” he said.
